Program for children ages birth-5 years old who may be at risk for developmental delay for health problems. There is no cost for families who participate.

Offers cancer screening for women at low or no cost. They provide multiple services such as HPV vaccination, mammograms, Pap smear test, pelvic exams, and more depending on your age and income and if you are uninsured.
Macon Volunteer Clinic
Free Healthcare for those who qualify
Provides care to working adults in Macon-Bibb and Twigg counties who do not have insurance and do not have the ability to pay. This includes primary care, dental, eye exams, cancer screenings, prescription medication, gynecology, neurology, dermatology, orthopedics, endocrinology, acupuncture, labs, x-rays and other diagnostics, nutritional counseling, and mental health counseling. To be eligible you must have no insurance, be employed, and earn less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and be between ages 18-64. You can check your eligibility on their website.

Dental Services
Provides children dental services including exams and cleanings, dental screenings, x-rays, extractions, fillings, fluoride varnish, dental sealants, and referrals to child health services for Macon-Bibb county, Houston county, and Hancock County. Adult dental services include exams and cleanings, dental screenings, x-rays, and extractions at the Houston county and Macon-Bibb county health Department. Dental services do not offer sliding fee scale but they do accept medicaid, Amerigroup, Peach State, WellCare, and Caresource.

Prices vary depending on the type of birth control used including implants, IUDs, the shot, the pill, condoms, and emergency contraceptives. A team of board-certified nurse practitioners and registered nurses provide confidential appointments to patients who are interested.

High Blood Pressure and Type 2 Diabetes Care
Clinics are offered at 13 different county health departments and depending on age, income, and insurance status, patients can qualify for free services or reduced cost services. This includes appointments with a nurse practitioner of screening, dietary counseling, and prescriptions.
